The picturesque village of Sneem is set on the shore of Kenmare Bay and is recognised as one of the cleanest and best presented towns in Ireland, since it won the the Irish Tourist Boards National Tidy Town's Competition.

Unique features of Sneem are the old stone bridge, gaily painted houses and shops surrounding beautiful greens,a sculpture park, the "garden of the senses" park with a riverside wildlife area and barbecue area, and the natural woodlands abound in the Parknasilla area.
